Description

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our growing team in Palm Beach Gardens. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure that our food retail operations are streamlined and efficient, contributing to our success in the restaurant industry.

As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a vital role in sourcing high-quality ingredients and supplies while managing vendor relationships and procurement processes. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to maintain quality standards, meet customer expectations, and drive profitability. Join us as we strive to elevate the dining experience through effective purchasing strategies.

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $105,000 annually, along with benefits that support your growth in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of essential products
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to forecast needs
Analyze purchasing data to drive cost savings and efficiencies
Prepare purchasing reports and performance metrics

Requirements

3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, pricing, merchandising, or category management
Food retail, grocery, foodservice, hospitality, or distribution background preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
Familiarity with inventory management systems
Basic understanding of food safety regulations
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Relevant experience in a similar role is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in supply chain management or related field is preferred
