Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training for new employees or students, and play a vital role in maintaining quality standards in the laboratory.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, strictly following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtaining the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment is required.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment tenure.
