Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Ortho unit requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine Medical Acute Care unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Cares for medical patients, including post-op radial cardiac cath and drip management such as heparin
• Uses Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines
• Charts using Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
