We are a double class school; teachers have partner teachers to work and collaborate with, as well as full‑time instructional aides in each classroom from K-5th. Required Qualifications BA/BS Degree Willingness to embrace the Catholic values and traditions of Saint Matthew Catholic School Enthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, and collective efficacy Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching in a Catholic school Valid California teaching credential (or equivalent)OR in the process of obtaining a CA Teaching Credential MA Degree Expertise with technology including various devices, document camera, Google, SmartBoard Responsibilities Support Saint Matthew Catholic School’s mission, philosophy, and SLE’s Prepare, deliver, and assess (engaging and interactive) lessons/units based on Archdiocesan Curriculum Guidelines Document student learning and report (communicate) regularly to administration and parents Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, students, and parents Supervise students inside and outside of the classroom, maintaining good rapport with students and effective classroom management.
