About the Role:Commercial Relationship Manager develops, advises, manages, and retains client relationships. They also solicit new business relationships with a focus on the profitability of those relationships. This is a sales- and solutions-focused position.Business development of current and new commercial client relationshipsDevelop internal relationships in order to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients from all areas of the BankAdvise clients on financial solutions and strategiesManage and review client relationshipsDemonstrate a high level of awareness of banking industry and industry-specific trendsDemonstrate a broad knowledge in other banking services offered by other lines of business to identify and offer qualified referralsDemonstrate an in-depth knowledge, understanding, and development of commercial banking financial solutions, including complex credit structures and solutions, treasury management and deposit solutions, and engaging in community relationships and activities for business developmentOther responsibilities as assignedAll employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.Embraces our vision to become “Business Bank of Choice”May perform other duties as assigned.About You:Bachelor’s degree in finance or other appropriate area preferred or equivalent work experience., required.7 years of Commercial Banking experience or equivalent, required.Proven ability to cross-sell all bank productsExpert in building client relationshipsHandles complex relationships and interact with outside counselExpert business development and sales skillsAbility to manage an existing portfolioConsultative selling skills and approachProactiveDeep knowledge of credit structuresWell-developed credit skills and acumenWell-developed underwriting skillsIn-depth understanding of personal and business financial statements and tax returnsAbility to manage a complex workflowStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to work independently, provide client solutions, prospect new client relationships, and coach and mentor other team membersDeep knowledge of bank products and servicesExpert in building, advising, and managing client relationships.Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.The pay range for this role is $ 112,596.40 to $200,000.00.The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
