Valrose Architectural Products (Valrose Premier Shade Structures) designs, fabricates, and installs premium aluminum outdoor shade structures — pergolas, cabanas, canopies, and trellises — for luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. Based in Hallandale Beach, FL with showrooms in Hallandale and Naples, our ~30-person team has delivered work for high-profile resorts, hotels, and private estates across South Florida and beyond.

The Role

We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to own the growth of our product lines. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role reporting directly to the President. You will be wholly responsible for building our pipeline with general contractors, architects, landscape architects, and interior/exterior designers — getting Valrose specified early and winning the work.

What You'll Do

• Own revenue growth across all Valrose product lines (pergolas, cabanas, canopies, trellises, and custom shade structures)
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with GCs, architects, landscape architects, and designers to get Valrose specified on projects
• Plan and present Lunch & Learns (including AIA CEU-style presentations) at A&D firms and contractor offices
• Represent Valrose at trade shows and industry events — and plan, staff, and run our own booths end to end (logistics, displays, lead capture, follow-up)
• Prospect and develop new opportunities in hospitality, multifamily, commercial, and luxury residential markets
• Track bids and projects from design phase through award, partnering with our estimating, engineering, and operations teams
• Manage your pipeline and activity in our CRM and report on results, forecasts, and market feedback
• Bring market intelligence back to the team on competitors, pricing, and new product opportunities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of business development or specification sales in building products, architectural products, construction, or outdoor living
• An existing network of GCs, architects, and designers in South Florida is a strong plus
• Proven track record of growing territory revenue and closing commercial projects
• Experience delivering Lunch & Learns and working trade shows
• Ability to read plans and talk confidently about design, materials, and construction
• Self-starter who can build a program from the ground up with minimal oversight
• Excellent presentation, communication, and follow-through skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally (and occasionally nationally for shows)
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
