Business Development Manager – Commercial Construction

Hialeah, FL | Full-Time | Office & Field-Based | $80K–$100K+ Base Salary, Based on Experience | Company Vehicle

An established Florida general contractor with more than 30 years of experience is hiring a Business Development Manager to develop client relationships and identify commercial construction opportunities throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

This is a relationship-driven position working with property managers, condominium associations, engineers, building owners, and other commercial-property decision-makers.

You will identify potential projects, conduct preliminary property visits, gather the information needed for bid review, create professional client presentations, and coordinate qualified opportunities with the estimating team. The estimating team will handle formal scopes, quantities, pricing, and bid preparation.

Direct restoration jobsite experience is not required. Candidates must have a commercial construction, property management, facilities, or building-services background that allows them to understand potential projects, ask relevant questions, and provide useful information to estimating.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary starting at $80,000, with six-figure compensation available for seasoned candidates with directly relevant experience, industry relationships, and a proven business-development background.

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with property managers, condominium associations, engineers, building owners, and referral partners.

• Generate opportunities through networking, calls, email outreach, meetings, presentations, industry events, and property visits.

• Conduct preliminary site visits and collect photographs, plans, contacts, timelines, access information, and general project details.

• Organize qualified opportunities for review by the estimating and operations teams.

• Create professional presentations for project interviews and meetings with associations, property managers, engineers, and prospective clients.

• Work with the company's website developer to add new projects, photographs, project updates, and company information.

• Track prospects, appointments, follow-ups, site visits, and bid opportunities in the company's CRM.

• Represent the company professionally throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

What We're Looking For

• Commercial construction, commercial property management, facilities, building services, construction sales, or related commercial experience.

• Business development, account management, sales, or client-relations experience.

• Ability to conduct a preliminary property visit and collect relevant information for estimating.

• Strong relationship-building, presentation, communication, and follow-up skills.

• Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to independently manage contacts, appointments, and follow-up activity.

• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and presentation software.

• Knowledge of concrete restoration, stucco, waterproofing, painting, roofing, windows and doors, or building-envelope services is a plus.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
