Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | No Weekends | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an ambulatory operating room setting across a 9-OR facility
• Perform circulating RN duties throughout the full surgical continuum including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols; radiation badge required and must be provided by placing agency
• Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet patient care demands
• May be required to precept care team members within the operating room
• During hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• First-time travel assignments are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in one or more of the following surgical specialties: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume ambulatory surgical environment
