- Executing comprehensive patient evaluations, prescribing appropriate diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing health conditions, whether working alongside physicians or autonomously (according to your credentials)
- Guiding patients and their families regarding prevention, overall wellness, and effective management of ailments
- Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and ongoing chronic care management
- Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless and well-rounded care
- Meticulously documenting patient interactions and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner academic program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to acquire within 90 days)
- Robust clinical judgment complemented by a caring bedside manner
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, their families, and fellow team members
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced, patient-centered settings
- Competence in EMR software and comfort with telehealth technology
- A cooperative mindset and commitment to evidence-based medical practices
