Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is located in Baltimore, Maryland. This inpatient role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to adult patients with focus on traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) care. Candidates are required to bring their active license on the first day of assignment.

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with every third weekend required
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, valid Maryland or Compact license, 0 years of experience minimum (3 years preferred but considering 2 years with strong skillset), and experience in acute care, adult rehabilitation facilities, and familiarity with a broad range of speech therapy assessments and procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) care, strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment, and familiarity with community hospital EMR systems.
- Additional Information: No floating required. Holidays are scheduled as they fall. Vaccinations include mandatory flu shot (no exemptions). Compliance documents are required within 5 days prior to start.
