High-Speed Bottling Line Maintenance MechanicWhat a day looks like

From the moment you step onto the production floor, you’re the guardian of uptime. You’ll make pre-shift rounds through motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and high-speed filling and packaging equipment—checking trends, listening for anomalies, and scheduling preventive maintenance before issues become interruptions. When a line calls for help, you respond fast, diagnose with precision instruments, and get production moving again. Between calls, you’ll log work orders, keep parts rooms organized, and coach operators on basic care to keep performance at its peak.

Your impact

• Execute preventive maintenance on production machinery (motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and high-speed equipment) using diagrams, sketches, OEM manuals, and engineering specs—troubleshooting malfunctions as they arise
• Pinpoint root causes by observing equipment in operation, listening for irregularities, and using precision measuring and test instruments
• Own multiple assets: complete assigned PMs, close corrective maintenance work orders, and fully document work orders, parts usage, and requisitions
• Reduce downtime by training and reminding production teammates on routine care, monitoring compliance, and jumping in to assist to keep the line running at top efficiency
• Maintain a safe, orderly workspace by following procedures, rules, and regulations; conserve resources by using parts and supplies wisely; and manage inventory by checking stock levels and anticipating needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring

• Ability to read and follow SOPs and instructions
• Solid computer skills for CMMS entries and documentation
• Calm multitasker who can prioritize across multiple lines and calls
• Comfort adjusting speeds, temperatures, and liquid levels to specification
• Advanced troubleshooting of complex process issues
• Hands-on skill with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments
• Preferred: ability to interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine drawings
• Comfort with complex processing equipment and a drive to deepen technical expertise
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience
• Preferred: 2+ years in plant maintenance with high-speed production equipment and/or relevant technical school certification
