PeriOperative Services Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

40 hours per week with call every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend.

The PeriOperative Services Registered Nurse is responsible for the practice of professional nursing, which includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. This role involves advocating for and caring for patients during the peri-operative period, from admission through discharge from PeriOperative Services. The position includes regularly scheduled shifts and call coverage.

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for patients.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Advocate for patients throughout the peri-operative process.
• Provide care for patients undergoing orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, and endoscopy procedures.

• Current RN license.
• Experience in ortho, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy preferred.
