The Work This role puts you at the center of one of the most meaningful intersections in child welfare: the space between where a child is and where they deserve to be. You'll carry a caseload of children placed in foster homes across Bay, Saginaw and Midland counties - meeting each child face-to-face every month, learning their story, and making sure their care plan actually reflects their life. You're not just managing paperwork. You're the person who notices when something has shifted - when a placement feels strained, when a parent is making real progress, or when a child finally starts opening up. You translate that knowledge into action: coordinating services, adjusting plans, representing the child's best interests in court, and connecting families to the community resources that can change their trajectory. Your workdays will take you across the Great Lakes Bay region - into homes, schools, courtrooms and community agencies - with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule in the Wellspring office in Bay City and at home once trained.
