Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential required
• Experience working with elementary-level students, particularly within Special Education settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to individualized instruction
• Understanding of IEP processes and compliance
• Organizational skills with flexibility to adjust instructional approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons tailored for students with ESN in the 2nd and 3rd grades
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain detailed records
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student growth
• Utilize adaptive strategies and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence
