Essential Certifications ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Preferred Certifications CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) Licensure Missouri or Compact License required. Skills Required General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pediatric settings Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Management of dysrhythmias Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Central line care/management Medications Continuous IV sedation IV vasopressors Respiratory CPAP/BiPAP management Care of ventilated patients Isolation Precautions Triage Skills Preferred Work Settings STEMI Certified Facility Stroke Certified Facility Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Interpretation of dysrhythmias IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Arterial line management Respiratory Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) Other Requirements Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs Experience with Epic charting system preferred Flu Vaccine required; Medical/Religious exemptions only Open to 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period, combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
