Psychiatrist for AI Model Evaluation

This role offers a unique opportunity for board-certified psychiatrists to engage with one of the world''s leading AI labs, focusing on the evaluation of how large language models process complex psychiatric cases. You will be responsible for designing diagnostic and reasoning challenges that highlight the limitations of current models, while providing authoritative, gold-standard answers based on your expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Develop gold-standard answers that demonstrate clear clinical reasoning.
- Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differentials, and risk assessment in your evaluations.
- Collaborate directly with research teams to enhance model performance.
- Provide feedback on common failure modes in model reasoning.
- Completed psychiatry residency from an ACGME, AOA, or equivalent program; in-training does not qualify.
- Medical degree (MD or DO); international degrees are acceptable.
- Active board certification in psychiatry (ABPN, FRCPC, MRCPsych, FRANZCP, or equivalent); board-eligible or lapsed certifications are not acceptable.
- Active, unrestricted medical license with no history of suspension, revocation, or open disciplinary action.
- A minimum of 3 years of independent practice following residency, within the last 2 years; training years are excluded.
- Practice must be in an accredited or government-licensed setting (hospital, academic center, community clinic, private practice, or telehealth).
- Must be based in the US, UK, Europe, or Australia, with a preference for candidates in the US.
- 10 or more direct patient-contact hours per week, currently engaged in clinical care.
- Subspecialty expertise in Psychiatry, such as Addiction, Child/Adolescent, Forensic, Geriatric, or Consultation-Liaison, demonstrated through fellowship, subspecialty board, or 2+ years of practice.
- Experience in OSCE development or as an examiner; being a candidate does not qualify.
- Current or recent faculty appointment in a department of psychiatry.
- Participate in a brief interview lasting approximately 20, 30 minutes, focusing on your clinical background and subspecialty expertise.
