Work Environment

As an LCSW, you will work closely with a team of seasoned mental health professionals equipped with modern technologies that facilitate effective telehealth and in-person interactions when necessary. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior LCSW, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health concerns of students, utilizing validated diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices, focusing on each student's unique needs and family dynamics.
• Delivering a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based techniques, ensuring each session is tailored to the client's preferences.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, promoting confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, school counselors, and educational staff, to ensure an integrated approach to student care, including participation in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Providing educational workshops and resources to families, helping them understand mental health issues and available community support.
• Staying informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health to continually enhance your clinical skills and the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who present with a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work with diverse populations and engage families in the therapeutic process, ensuring culturally competent and respectful care for all clients. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between home and school, enhancing the educational experience for students who require extra support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work, particularly within school or mental health settings.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish positive rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
• A strong commitment to cultural competency and ethical practices in social work.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with school mental health systems and educational frameworks.
• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 78,000 to 115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide:
