Packager (2nd or 3rd Shift) Job Title: Packager (2nd or 3rd Shift) ($18.50-19.00/hr.) Job Description We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Packagers to join our team. With two openings available, candidates can choose between the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role begins with training on the first shift for the 2nd shift position and training on the 3rd shift for the 3rd shift position. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential to become a direct hire. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today! Responsibilities Receive and process extruded products from production. Make boxes for packaging finished goods. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality and identify defects. Package products according to customer specifications, work instructions, and company standards. Apply labels, lot numbers, and other required product identification. Complete production and quality documentation accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with safety and quality requirements. Communicate quality concerns, equipment issues, or production delays to supervisors. Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality system standards. Perform packaging work in a warehouse setting. Utilize a computer minimally for quality checks. Pick orders and prepare them for shipping. Palletize finished products. Label boxes for shipping. Lift up to 30 lbs. Shrink wrap products. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in a shipping or packaging position. Ability to lift 30 lbs. Experience utilizing a computer for quality checks. Additional Skills & Qualifications ERP experience is a plus. Experience in a clean room environment. Familiarity with GMP standards. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our warehouse is a clean and temperature-controlled environment, equipped with state-of-the-art automated extrusion machines. Employees enjoy a comfortable setting with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. The role requires adherence to GMP and FDA requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE such as hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and no jewelry or makeup. Employees will suit up in a paper gown for each shift and are provided with a locker to store personal belongings. Tennis shoes are acceptable attire, and the work is not strenuous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Twinsburg, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
