Senior Accounting Associate

Position Summary:

As a Senior Accounting Associate, you'll take ownership of core bookkeeping and accounting activities across our entities while leading key projects and processes within the accounting function. This role offers meaningful exposure to a wide range of accounting and investment-related work, with the opportunity to tackle new challenges every day, contribute to process improvement, and build long-term, trusted partnerships across the organization.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

Own and perform complex bookkeeping and accounting activities for investment and operating entities, including:
- Executing day-to-day general ledger activity as part of the monthly close process
- Maintaining general ledgers used for tax and financial reporting
- Preparing bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Performing cash management activities
- Preparing and maintaining schedules, analyses, and reports to support tax return preparation
Gather and analyze information across investment reports, including capital gains, interest and dividend income, and alternative and fixed income securities, and appropriately book related activity
Own and drive key accounting and financial projects and recurring processes
Review disbursements, reconciliations, credit card transactions, general ledger activity, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Identify areas of risk or inefficiency and design and implement solutions or process improvements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide accounting support as needed
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
