Desired Qualifications:

• Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license (current and in good standing)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience within school-based settings, particularly with middle and high school age groups
• Strong background in serving students with moderate disabilities
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 25-30 middle and high school students
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
• Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and documentation
• Provide consultation and training for school staff regarding effective communication strategies
