Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery registered nurses (RNs) are sought in Austin, Texas. This role involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy labor and delivery unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to ensure compliance with state licensing requirements.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Candidate must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and SVE competency, with a minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of June 8, 2026, at a facility with 32 beds and a staff of 150. The unit operates with patient ratios of 1:2, utilizes equipment such as Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US, and follows Meditech electronic medical records. The role requires experience with procedures including spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC.
