This is a contingent position based upon contract award KBR is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team. In this role you will be key personnel responsible for supporting the integration and implementation of end-to-end solutions into the enterprise and participate in the requirements process as directed by the Government. The Technical Lead will work across a variety of efforts to identify integration risks (e.g. technical schedule, or performance), opportunities for process improvements, and recommend best practices. Responsibilities: Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicate with other program personnel and government staff Minimum Qualifications: Ten (10) or more years’ experience with technical or programmatic integration roles Bachelor's Degree Demonstrated experience with technical project management Experience providing recommendations to address issues and shortfalls in security, vulnerability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability Experience providing systems engineering support to evaluate utility and demand for capabilities, systems, and services and suggest modifications Demonstrated experience executing and managing end-use requirements gathering and curation activities for Information Technology (IT) systems and services Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leaders Experience supporting the federal government or DoD Desired Qualifications: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent or coursework Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g. TOGAF) Experience as a technical writer Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance is required Basic Compensation: $129,500 - $194,200 This range is for the Maryland area only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
