What You'll Do

• Provide holistic nursing care to adult patients with complex conditions including respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-procedural care
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic data
• Administer medications, including drip titrations (e.g., Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin)
• Manage invasive lines such as CVL, arterial lines, and Foley catheters
• Perform assessments and document patient progress using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RTs, OT/PT/ST
• Support quick response to patient changes and emergencies
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including pre-arrival EKG competency exam
• Work in a dynamic environment, floating between stroke and medical-surgical units as needed
• Maintain professional standards, including proper uniform and badge wearing, with no cell phone use in care areas

What You Need

• Valid RN license in State
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Strong clinical skills including CVL management, medication titration, and patient assessment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
