You support the facilities leadership in ensuring the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of the casino and hotel's buildings, equipment, and grounds run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership helps protect the corporation's physical assets, while your oversight ensures that a skilled and responsive facilities team is always ready to meet technical challenges. By maintaining a well-functioning, guest-ready environment, you directly contribute to operational excellence and the overall guest experience.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellenceDrive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadershipEstablish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goalsOversee and communicate with supervisory staff to ensure all areas within the department are operating smoothly, safely, and efficientlyMaintain a strict preventative maintenance program to ensure the reliability and safety of all facilities and equipmentConsult with various departments to assess and respond to facility-related needs, supporting both internal operations and guest satisfactionReview and update all facilities-related policies, procedures, and job descriptions to ensure operational efficiency and complianceOversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMust have at least 5 years of previous experience in the facility management field, including leadership or progressive responsibility in engineering, maintenance, and operationsProven track record of effective decision-making under pressure and in dynamic environmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organizationAbility to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamicsCommitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace cultureProactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvementSkilled in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive resultsAbility to lead, energize, motivate, organize, coordinate, and supervise work of skilled personnelRead and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and specificationsWorking knowledge of boilers, HVAC systems, electrical power distribution, emergency systems, and auxiliary machineryKnowledge of safe working practices and regulatory requirements for maintenance tradesAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft TeamsRequirementsThis position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuanaAt least 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent, preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify the legal right to work in the United StatesPhysical RequirementsOccasionally push/pull up to 50lbsOccasionally lift and/or carry up to 50lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistRegularly sit and work at a desk or computerFrequently standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolding, and/or rampsWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorOutdoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme heightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
