We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of recent defense litigation experience, preferably with a strong background in construction defect and general liability defense, to support legal teams in Orlando or Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will be an independent, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills, experience summarizing complex records, and the ability to accurately capture time and bill according to client guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and summarize records from homeowners' associations, general contractors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.

• Review construction project files, supporting documentation, and records related to construction defect and general liability litigation.

• Prepare detailed summaries, case chronologies, and document analyses to support litigation strategy.

• Assist attorneys with organizing and evaluating case materials and supporting documentation.

• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

• Accurately record billable time and comply with client-specific billing guidelines.

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal team members to support case preparation and litigation needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent defense litigation paralegal experience required.

• Experience in general liability defense required; construction defect litigation experience is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with construction-related records, including project files, contractor and subcontractor documentation, and homeowners' association records, is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed summaries and chronologies.

• Proven experience capturing time accurately and following client billing guidelines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
