Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 10/05/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2286.16 \n \n Opportunity: \n RN - Med/Surg \n Job Details: \n • Day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM \n • Weekend availability required \n • Holiday availability required \n • 28-bed Medical/Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 \n • 1 CNA per 10-14 patients available on unit \n • No telemonitor techs on unit; telemonitor support provided from a centralized location in Arizona reachable via Ascom app on iPhone \n • Ability to read telemetry strips preferred \n • Charge nurse does not take a patient assignment \n • Required to titrate Insulin and Heparin drips \n • RT equipment includes CPAP and established BiPAPs only \n • Common diagnoses include sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, CHF, and general medical patients \n • Float requirement within Region I which includes facilities in Burien, WA; Seattle, WA; and Federal Way, WA \n • First to float when not needed on unit \n • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks \n • Charting system: EPIC \n • Scrub color: Any professional colors \n • BSN preferred but not required \n • Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferred \n • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required \n • Required certifications: BLS (AHA) \n • Washington state nursing license required \n Facility: \n This acute care facility operates as part of a larger regional healthcare network, providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the surrounding community.
