Insurance Defense Attorney

GLB, PC, a partnership of established insurance-defense practitioners located in Tigard, Oregon, is currently seeking an Attorney to join our growing practice. We represent insurance carriers, insureds, and individuals in defense of Construction, Injury and Professional Liability claims in Oregon and Washington. GLB seeks candidates who are responsible, responsive, knowledgeable, creative, and professional who are capable of team support.

The firm is looking for a candidate that wants to work hard in our uniquely congenial office environment, with a commitment to long-term and advancement in the firm. We are seeking an Attorney to join our Injury team. Candidates with contract experience, in addition to bodily/personal experience, are highly sought-after.

As an Attorney at GLB, you will provide legal representation to clients in the defense of moderate to complex injury lawsuits. Case management begins from the initial stages of filing responsive pleadings through discovery and ultimately trial. Your case management responsibility includes developing and implementing strategies for all stages of litigation while collaborating with our claims partners and clients. Additional responsibilities include preparing necessary legal documentation, conducting depositions, investigating/researching, and evaluating cases for settlement, arbitration, and trial.

Job Requirements

Strong communication and negotiation skills to represent client interests in litigation.

Able to work independently with minimum direction and good organizational skills needed to manage a reasonable caseload.

Requires a law degree and admission to the Oregon State Bar AND Washington State Bar. This is REQUIRED.

Minimum of 3-5 years insurance defense experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
