Associate Attorney

Position Overview Senior Attorney (or Senior Associate, Of Counsel, Partner) in our California practice group. This role is available for a California bar‑licensed attorney with a strong track record in civil defense litigation. Job Requirements California bar license in good standing. Minimum JD from an ABA‑approved law school. At least 5 years of civil defense litigation experience in Labor and Employment. Experience managing up to 20 cases simultaneously, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, and drafting motions and discovery. Trial and mediation experience a plus; mentoring junior associates a plus. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet, word processing). Self‑motivated, strong client communication, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct. Job Responsibilities Draft, review and respond to petitions/complaints, motions, and written discovery. Attend hearings, client meetings, depositions, and Mediation/Trial proceedings. Assist with trial and mediation preparation and participate as needed. Billable work and support billing processes. Perform additional duties as assigned. What We Offer Salary range $160,000 – $225,000 per year, with quarterly bonuses based on billable hours. Annual performance reviews with potential salary increases.
