Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside, your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks and responsibilities, including:

• Providing thorough assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, incorporating pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment procedures diligently to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with clinical team members to optimize client care.

• Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective positive behavior support plans that cater to the unique challenges faced by each client.

• Participating in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the quality of services provided.

• Acting as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance patient care through coordinated efforts.

• Establishing and nurturing relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to bolster program visibility and explore funding opportunities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.

• Must hold an independent LMHC license to practice, either within California or with assistance to obtain licensure if coming from another state.
