Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address clients’ needs, including crisis management plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.

• Maintain prompt and accurate documentation in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely updates to patient records.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools as part of the clinical assessment process and contribute actively to interdisciplinary team discussions to promote holistic care.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each client's unique challenges and goals.

• Engage in all relevant licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant services, actively coordinating care with state agencies and community partners as needed.

• Foster open and effective communication with clients and their families to enhance understanding and adherence to treatment plans.

• Establish and nurture relationships with community organizations and state or federal agencies to advance our mission and identify new funding opportunities.

• Pursue ongoing personal and professional development through attendance at conferences, workshops, and participation in relevant task forces and committees.

• Consistently promote the organization's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the operational and clinical objectives of the clinic.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including adults recovering from substance use disorders, individuals with co-occurring mental health issues, and those facing challenges from developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related mental health field is required.

• An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is mandatory to practice in California.
