Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through initial consultations and ongoing therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitate regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide therapeutic tools to aid their recovery.

• Develop and lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to address specific needs and promote healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients facing a diverse array of mental health issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders such as depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will provide therapeutic support to a wide demographic, ensuring culturally competent care that respects and accommodates different backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.
