Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluate clients’ mental health status, considering their unique psychosocial backgrounds and current challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, incorporating various therapeutic modalities adapted to client needs.

• Hold regular therapy sessions with clients, both individually and in group settings, to provide consistent support and foster their therapeutic journey toward recovery.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and additional support services, as necessary to address comprehensive client needs.

• Document client progress accurately in our EHR system, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, addressing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Your cultural competence and ability to engage with clients from varied backgrounds will be essential in providing effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of direct experience in clinical mental health counseling.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and therapeutic techniques.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure during challenging client interactions.

• Proficient with electronic health record systems and other relevant technology for effective practice management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
