About the Role This is a sales role at its core. You’ll own new business with artists from first outreach to signed deal: building your own pipeline, pitching, negotiating, and closing. You’ll sign artists to the Made platform, to distribution deals, and to rights management deals that protect and monetize their catalog, and you’ll carry a target and own the number. The focus is entirely on artists, the independent musicians and their teams who need to show up as creators without losing the time they’d rather spend making music. Key Responsibilities Sign artists and their teams to Made through existing/established connections and prospecting. Sign artists to distribution and rights management deals that get their music onto every platform and protect and monetize what they’ve already released. Own and consistently hit your monthly and quarterly sales targets. Manage a healthy pipeline of artists: prospect, track follow-ups, and stay on top of leads. Continuously look for new trends in music and rising/untapped artist communities to approach as new sales targets and share that feedback with management. Negotiate terms and close deals with prospective artist clients. Leverage AI tools like Gemini and music sales/A&R tools like Chartmetric and Rostr to find and prioritize artist prospects. Other duties, as assigned by management, from time to time Key Requirements +3 years of sales experience, ideally in music or SaaS, a creator tool or platform, or a creator-facing brand. A&R or artist-relations experience is an asset. An existing, strong network of independent artists and their teams (managers and producers) that you can activate from day one, spanning developing acts through established independents (roughly 50,000 to 300,000+ monthly listeners) Strong ability to prospect artists, track follow-ups and stay on top of leads Strong knowledge of social media platforms, music DSPs, and digital music marketing trends Excellent written and verbal communication skills A working understanding of how music rights and royalties work is a plus Comfortable owning your pipeline in a fast, high growth environment #J-18808-Ljbffr RHEI
