Responsibilities
- Provide PTA support under supervision of a physical therapist in an LTAC/long-term care setting.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities.
- Document patient progress, response to interventions, and any changes to the plan of care.
- Assist with modalities, transfers, and positioning to promote safety and comfort.
- Communicate patient status, goals, and any changes to the PT and care team.
- Maintain safe and compliant clinical practices, including infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
- Active PTA license in South Dakota or eligible for licensure
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and follow physician and PT-directed plans
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and travel to the assigned location
