RN Clinical SupervisorThe RN Clinical Supervisor leads the medical team within an adult residential care setting, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient healthcare operations across assigned resident homes.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & OversightLead and supervise the medical team and assigned groups of homesProvide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations for staffCollaborate with leadership to support organizational goalsMaintain strong, professional communication with all staffClinical & Resident CareSupport emergency medical situations and provide direct care as neededPerform assessments, observations, and coordinate diagnostic testingOversee resident move-ins and ensure resident rights are upheldFollow up on medical recommendations across disciplinesOperations & ComplianceDevelop and improve policies, processes, and healthcare practicesAudit EMR, MAR, prescriptions, and appointment recordsMonitor medication logs, PRN usage, and workflowsConduct monthly medication cart audits and review medical documentationTraining & DevelopmentTrain and onboard Medical Coordinators and float staffEnsure competency through ongoing training and coachingProvide in-home training and sign off on medication passer competenciesGroup OversightSupervise one assigned group of homes, including:Appointment tracking and documentation systemsMedication and control logsStaff task coordination and complianceOngoing training and performance monitoringCommunication & Quality ImprovementParticipate in on-call rotation and weekly support meetingsReview team communication daily and ensure accountabilityAnalyze Performance Improvement Team (PIT) dataConduct quarterly guardian updatesProvide regular updates to leadershipQualificationsLicensed LPN or RN (State of Michigan)3–5 years of medical leadership experienceAdult foster care and mental health (MI/DD) experience preferredStrong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally)Travel between locations as neededFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
