Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison - Neurology (NY Metro)

About the Role Neurology Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field‑based, non‑sales position on Regeneron’s Commercial Neurology Marketing team. The role focuses on enhancing and improving interactions with key external US Neurology thought leaders at academic centers and leading community practices for our neurology product. The TLL works closely with cross‑functional leaders from Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and the Neurology Leadership Team to ensure alignment with overall strategy and tactical execution. Typical Responsibilities Engage in meaningful and strategic discussions to gather insights & share clinical information with assigned key thought leaders. Conduct substantive business discussions related to on‑label product information, disease state, and general corporate overviews. Embrace a customer‑centric, needs‑based approach to drive strategic thought leader engagements. Coordinate thought leader engagements for senior executives at local, regional, and national conferences and/or in day‑to‑day business. Develop and maintain a list of key thought leaders in the assigned geography. Assist with thought leader development. Support speaker bureau build‑out efforts, including identifying potential speakers, managing logistics related to speaker trainings, and providing feedback to improve presentation effectiveness. Share insights gleaned from interactions with thought leaders with Marketing and other functional groups. Support regional and national advisory board planning efforts, make strategic recommendations on potential thought leader participants, and liaise with selected thought leaders to coordinate participation. Ensure all interactions and activities with thought leaders adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance guidelines. Candidate Profile Strong science background with deep knowledge of rare neurology. Ability to comprehend complex information and distill it into concise, impactful presentations. Effective collaborator, providing input and feedback to all functions within the project team. Capability to balance and lead multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and communication skills, comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels and across functional teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or other advanced education/certification a plus. Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience, with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in two or more of the following: Thought Leader Liaison role (previous or current), field sales, inline or regional brand marketing, relevant medical/clinical experience, experience in Neurology markets strongly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in marketing strategies within the pharmaceutical industry; launch experience preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proven team player with in‑depth knowledge of industry regulations and compliance guidelines. Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel 60‑80% of the time.
