Caddie Program Manager | East Potomac Golf Links (Summer 2026) - On-site

Western Golf Association/ Evans Scholars Foundation Role : Caddie Program Manager Location : Washington, DC (East Potomac Golf Links) Reports to : Coordinator, WGA Community Caddie Programs Travel : East Potomac Golf Links Caddie Academy Compensation : $25/hour (20-30 hours per week) Start Date : June 22nd, 2026 End Date : August 2nd, 2026 Housing : Will be provided at the UMD Evans Scholarship House Job Responsibilities Under direction of Coordinator, WGA Community Caddie Programs, the program manager will support all associated efforts managing the caddie operations at East Potomac Golf Links. Support students through scheduling of work, developmental feedback, and promoting and marketing their services to the golfers at East Potomac Golf Links. Serve as youth caddie trainer conducting both virtual and in-person sessions and provide supplemental training at East Potomac Golf Links as needed. Promote and develop skills for participants as they acclimate to caddying. Schedule loop assignments and report times for students, including loop tracking and processing of subsidized base caddie fee through the Clubup caddie app and other necessary tracking. Assist in tracking students in collecting caddie round data, academic progress, and additional support in line with established best practices and protocols throughout the season. Liaison with staff at East Potomac Golf Links, Caddie Academy Counselors, and caddies to coordinate schedule based on need and demand at the club. Weekly reporting to Coordinator of WGA Community Caddie Programs. Monitor caddie meals from the East Potomac Grill. Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring most of the following qualifications: Strong belief in and commitment to Evans Scholars Foundation’s mission and vision. Experience working with students in a teacher/mentor role. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Forms, Sheets, Classroom, etc.) or a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn. A drive to meet, understand, and establish genuine relationships within the community, staff, golfers, as well as partner organizations. Completion of background check and completion of ESF approved training course on student safety and protocols. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. Strong writing and presentation skills in individual and group settings. Ability to navigate complex relationships and interact comfortably with caddies, parents, golfers, and/or golf professionals and staff. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and lists at once, prioritize best opportunities, and present ideas to internal and external constituents Ability to solve problems and operate in situations where only limited standardization exists. Knowledge and enjoyment of golf would be preferred. Experience working with high school students, especially from underserved communities, would be preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Usi Insurance
