Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Adaptability to diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant coursework or certifications welcomed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Provide individualized or small-group support to students as directed
- Help maintain a safe, positive classroom climate for all learners
- Supervise students during classroom transitions, lunchtime, or recess
- Aid in the preparation of learning materials and instructional resources
- Collaborate with staff to support student academic and social development
