Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN for Med-Surg Float Pool coverage. The ideal candidate will possess Epic experience and be prepared to float across units as needed, providing high-quality patient care in a busy academic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health record systems to document patient information accurately.
• Adhere to facility dress code, scrubs, and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Perform competency testing within 24 hours of employment if required, ensuring all certifications are current.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth unit operations.
• Float to different units as assigned, maintaining flexibility and adaptability to meet patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the appropriate state, with willingness to review pending licenses.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience.
• Demonstrate Epic EMR experience and competency in clinical tasks within a hospital setting.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience at a facility with 600+ beds, with passing competency test scores.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
