Call IER if an employer: Does not hire you or fires you because of your national origin or citizenship status (this may violate a part of the law at 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(1)) Treats you unfairly while checking your right to work in the U.S., including while completing the Form I-9 or using E-Verify (this may violate the law at 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(1) or (a)(6)) Retaliates against you because you are speaking up for your right to work as protected by this law (the law prohibits retaliation at 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(5)) Position: Senior AccountantLocation: WestLos Angeles, CA, Hybrid (3days/week onsite).Type of hire: Direct hire or Contract to Hire (W2)Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is a member of the Revenue Accounting team and is crucial in the setup of various contracts in our ERP system to automate proper revenue recognition of transactions, recording of expenses, and ensuring accurate accrual and payment of revenue share to our partners.Key ResponsibilitiesLead new contract setups to ensure data builds are complete, the system is setup for proper recognition and all reports are sent to the partner by working cross functionallyCreate offer setups in the ChRM (Revenue Share) module in Oracle to automate proper revenue and expense recognition, revenue share accrual, and invoicingScope ChRM and AR module builds for new product launches to ensure that the appropriate data to record revenue share can be obtained and is tested prior to product launchesTest and validate Oracle data feeds for both new feeds and modifications to existing feedsUpload and review Oracle data feeds on a weekly basisValidate revenue share expenses for completeness and accuracy monthlyProcess adjustments within ChRM (revenue share) module as neededPrepare revenue share invoicing and reporting monthlyPrepare Journal Entries in Oracle EBS, including calculation of manual revenue share monthlyReconcile asset and liability accounts within our reconciliation software monthlyOversee resolution of discrepancies, which includes trouble shooting errors, reading and reviewing contracts, and navigating multiple data sourcesServe as liaison for the department both from external (e.g. partners, auditors, etc.) parties and internal departments, including establishing critical relationships with the upper management team, retail, product, reporting and FP&A teamsAssist with designing process improvements and implementing robotics (utilizing Automation Anywhere RPA tools) and automation in the AR and revenue share areasProvide support for various audit teams, including both internal and external auditorsAssist with the monitoring, completion and adherence to internal controls policies & proceduresPerform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of accounting or reconciliation experiencePublic accounting experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and various departments within the companyCapable of handling multiple tasks and projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environmentDetail oriented with good problem solving and analytical skillsFundamental understanding of US GAAPAdvanced Excel skills, with interest and aptitude to work with large amounts of dataKnowledge and experience with a large scale ERP, preferably Oracle EBSAny AI experience or SQL work will stand out (Good to have)Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or related fields preferredThird party candidates will not be considered for this opportunity.
