The role focuses on integrating Medicare and Medicaid data to better understand program performance and improve services for Pennsylvania's dual eligible individuals. As a Program Analyst 3, you will perform the following duties:Data Integration: Analyze Medicare and Medicaid information to evaluate care coordination outcomesTrend Review: Use mining applications and techniques to analyze complex data and identify trendsReporting Accuracy: Compile and submit mandatory reports to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that demonstrate consumer outcomesTechnical Guidance: Provide direction to staff and partners on planning, program objectives, and coordinating servicesQuality Evaluation: Assess program effectiveness and recommend changes that support seamless service deliveryInformation Systems: Use advanced data systems to support data collection and continuous monitoringFull-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
