TIG Aluminum Welder 

Wage as contract employee: $22.50/hr

Monday - Thursday

7a.m. - 5:30 P.M.

2 paid 15-minute breaks and a half hour lunch break.

Main responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned, per business needs):

Main Responsibilities:

Safety: Demonstrates awareness of safety requirements in assigned work areas and wears appropriate PPE for assigned work. Maintains appropriate weld area shielding to protect both the operator and other employees in the welding environment.

Quality: Completes raw material inspection and preparation for one or more weld processes. Performs manual MIG and TIG welding processes to specified quality level. Performs welding processes with limited oversight.

Production : Independently operates one or more weld robots as assigned and/or applies manual weld to required production pace. Performs this work with limited oversight.

Continuous Improvement : Completes work in compliance with established standards, including process conformance and standard cycle time. Contributes   to ongoing process improvements for fabricated aluminum products. Participates in the maintenance and upkeep of assigned welding equipment to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) plan.
