Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Dialysis Program provides specialized care for end-stage renal disease patients, including acute and peritoneal dialysis, in a welcoming environment. The RN will oversee clinical care during 10-hour shifts, deliver prompt, state-of-the-art treatments, and offer clinical direction to staff. Responsibilities Assess and care for patients with complex needs, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies, OSHA, CMS, and regulatory standards. Develop professional growth by improving patient outcomes and expanding knowledge and skills. Supervise and direct clinical staff during shifts, providing leadership and ensuring quality care. Qualifications & Skills Current Maryland RN license; compact licensure preferred. At least two years of clinical nursing experience, including 12 months in med-surg, critical care, or emergency care. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association; CNN or CDN preferred. Supervisory experience and willingness to lead a team. Completion of CMS-approved training for water treatment system operation. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and specific hospital applications within 60 days of employment. Key Duties Provide comprehensive dialysis care in a multidisciplinary team setting. Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards are met.
