Realty Specialist Duties
As Realty Specialist, GS-1170, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to:
- Performs as a fully warranted and Lease Contracting Officer (LCO) with responsibility for all functional areas of real property, real estate leasing, and lease administration management.
- Assists in the development of policies, directives, and guidance for use, on the use and management of Government leased buildings and facilities throughout the United States.
- Evaluates, reviews, and interprets real property objectives and maintains compliance and quality assurance and in preparation of Annual Budget Space Management initiatives.
- Administers with lease acquisition policy, management, and oversight activities from initiation to close out, and provide agency-wide budget support for the leasing program.
- Ensures agency-wide databases meet real property and real property leasing asset management procedures and reporting requirements.
- Reviews requests for lease renewals, revocable licenses, use permits, and other land and space agreements to assure program and statutory requirements.
