Environmental Planner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the environmental impact of proposed projects and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will analyze data, prepare reports, and develop strategies to mitigate negative environmental effects while promoting sustainable practices. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and developers, you will facilitate public engagement and gather input to inform project planning and decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations, as well as experience in land use planning and environmental assessment. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting site evaluations, preparing environmental impact statements, and recommending best practices for sustainable development. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences. A degree in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field is required, along with relevant experience in environmental consulting or planning roles.
