Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners near Midlothian, VA, as the newest Speech-Language Pathologist on a collaborative and dedicated school-based team. This position begins mid-August and continues through May, serving a single campus with a stable caseload of elementary and middle school students. With the support of four experienced SLP colleagues, you’ll make a meaningful difference for children in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid CCC-SLP certification
• Experience working in school settings, specifically with elementary and middle school populations
• Strong collaborative and communication skills to work efficiently within an SLP team
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and tracking IEPs and speech-language interventions

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across elementary and middle school grades
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and school goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing expertise and progress with multidisciplinary teams
