Senior Marketing Specialist

Proposals + Qualifications Lead the full RFP/RFQ response process from intake through submission, managing timelines and coordinating input from estimators, field operations leaders, and partners. Draft and format cover letters, project approach narratives, and team resumes, applying FH's established tone and brand standards. Maintain the qualifications library, including but not limited to, resumes, project cut sheets, past performance data, and references. Own final proofing, production, and confirmed submission of every pursuit. Utilize AI tools to streamline processes, improve consistency, and increase efficiency across proposal and marketing production Track proposal outcomes and debrief insights Award Submissions Identify relevant award opportunities (ABC, AGC, ENR, local business journals, safety awards) and manage the annual awards calendar. Write and assemble award entries, coordinating internal approvals and supporting materials from project teams. Track outcomes and maintain a record of past submissions for reuse in future proposals and marketing. Community + Industry Engagement Represent FH at relevant industry association events, chapter meetings, and community organizations. Coordinate FH’s sponsorships, volunteer events, and charitable giving initiatives. Build and track relationships that support long-term business development. Business Development + Marketing Support Format and prepare interview decks and shortlist presentation materials. Design and produce marketing collateral – leave-behinds, project profile sheets, and other client-facing materials. Support go/no-go decisions with market research and competitor intelligence. Create social media content, project announcements, and brand consistency across external materials. Capture and produce jobsite photos and videos for marketing purposes. Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar (or equivalent experience) 2-5 years’ experience in AEC marketing, proposal coordination, or related professional services role Curiosity & Proactive Thinking: Demonstrates initiative, seeks to understand the broader context, and anticipates needs without requiring direction. Ownership & Reliability: Takes responsibility for assigned tasks, follows through consistently, and delivers accurate, high-quality work on time. Strong Organizational Skills: Effectively manages multiple priorities, maintains clear systems for tracking work, and ensures deadlines and details are consistently met. Clear Communication: Communicates information in a professional, concise manner and keeps stakeholders informed throughout each stage of work. Relationship Building: Establishes positive working relationships, collaborates well across teams, and represents the company professionally. Composure Under Deadlines: Maintains professionalism, focus, and sound judgment during periods of high workload, shifting priorities, and tight timelines. Full ownership of FH’s brand presence through proposals, social content, and communications. Award submissions and community engagement build FH’s visibility and reputation in target markets.
