Record Center Specialist 1

Our client, a logistics and records management organization, is seeking a Record Center Specialist 1 to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist 1, you will be part of the operations team supporting day-to-day record processing and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, comfort with hands-on physical work, and the ability to follow procedures accurately, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials Manually lift, carry, and arrange storage boxes, bins, and totes (10-100 lbs regularly; 24-100 lbs encountered) Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks while walking on uneven and concrete surfaces Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes Operate a hand-held scanner and support incoming and outgoing order workflows What's Needed? Ability to lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs on a regular basis without assistance Comfort working in a physically demanding environment, including standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting for extended periods Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods, including up and down inclines and stairs Ability to read and write English to follow labels, instructions, and order requirements Ability to climb and balance on ladders and load/shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts What's in it for me?
