Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dedicated pediatric team in Atlanta, GA . In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care, health education, and the management of acute and chronic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, including history taking, physical examinations, and developmental screenings.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of pediatric conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and developmental disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Provide immunizations, well-child visits, and health screenings, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of ongoing health issues.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, providing follow-up care and referrals when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of pediatric care protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active NP license in the state of Georgia
• 1 to 2 years of pediatrics experience (preferred)
• Active DEA
