Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Support includes two unit secretaries from 0600-2200 daily and patient care tech coverage based on census. Uses telemetry in each room with station monitors, Dynamaps, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner, and an advanced call light system. Procedures performed on the unit include PICC line removal and vas cath/temp cath removal.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays as required.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
